Any game whose measured return over a rolling 100,000-spin sample drifts more than 0.5 percentage points from the return stated on the provider's published spec sheet. Smaller variances are within statistical noise and are logged but not flagged.

How often is the Tracker updated?

The deviation feed refreshes every six hours from live game telemetry. The Most Flagged leaderboard and Operator Conformity table are republished on the first business day of each month.

Can operators pay to be removed from the Tracker?

No. StarSlot Online maintains a 0% pay-to-rank policy and has never accepted payment to alter, suppress, or remove an entry. The policy is independently audited by eCOGRA (2022) and disclosed in every review footer.

Is a flagged game unsafe to play?

A flag indicates measured RTP differs from the stated return — it is not a safety or licensing verdict. Readers should treat flags as a signal to compare the game against alternatives with confirmed conformity, not as proof of misconduct.

Methodology

Why half a percent.

The 0.5% deviation threshold is not arbitrary. It is the smallest drift that, over a meaningful session length, produces a statistically distinguishable signal from ordinary variance. Anything tighter produces false positives that erode reader trust; anything looser would let operators quietly reduce effective return without consequence.

StarSlot's method does not rely on operator-supplied data. We pull RTP, volatility, hit-frequency and max-win figures directly from provider spec sheets held in a frozen reference vault, then compare each live game stream against that vault every fifteen minutes. When the rolling observed return deviates beyond the threshold, the title is flagged, timestamped, and added to the public ledger.

The Tracker is independently audited by eCOGRA, who verify both the data ingestion pipeline and the threshold logic on a quarterly basis. We disclose every flag, every clearance, and every false positive — not because regulators require it, but because readers deserve to see the audit trail, not the marketing summary.
